What Do You Get From Volunteering?

Besides this, volunteering gives you a chance to make mistakes and learn, which usually we don’t get in workplaces. Through real work with children and survivors, you’ll:
- Build confidence and leadership.
- Strengthen teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Deepen your emotional intelligence.
- Find a community that feels like family, where kindness is culture and support is constant.
- Experience a safe space for your own healing and growth while helping others.
Volunteers receive a Certificate of Contribution , and based on performance, a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) appreciating their work and impact.

- Anyone above the age of 18 can be a volunteer with us.
- You don’t need a background in social work just empathy, sincerity, and the willingness to learn.
- Our volunteers come from all walks of life including students, professionals, parents, survivors, educators.
